It's funny how these little phrases stick with us. I had no idea just how long some of them have been around though. It seems that as long as it works, age is a moot point. Let's take the New York Times for instance. Their tagline is "All the news that's fit to print." I've been hearing that for years, but I had absolutely no idea it dates back to 1896! As with the logotype, simplicity and concept are the factors that lead to its success.
